Four manufacturers have recalled about 165,000 inclined infant sleepers because of the choking hazard for babies. The recalled sleepers are manufactured by Delta, Evenflo, Graco and Summer Infant.

The voluntary recalls were released on Wednesday on the website of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

"Infant mortality has been reported with other manufacturers' sleep aids after the infants have rolled from their back, stomach or side or under other circumstances," said the four recall notifications.

While none of the four recalled thresholds have been associated with deaths, these product types were the focus of a study by the Consumer Product Safety Commission last year. It found it 59 babies had died in slanting sleepers since 2005 and that none of the sleep aids examined were suitable for sleeping in babies.

Consumers should contact the manufacturer directly for a cash refund or vouchers. You can find details on the availability of the companies below in the individual sections on the individual recalls.
