It's hard to count how many brands sell affordable headphones and earphones these days, but 1More has always stood out from the crowd for a number of reasons. The company's products feature a modern and comfortable design, are state of the art, and usually sound pretty good. Above all, their prices are reasonable and make many 1More products the best value for money in their respective segments.
Today we're reviewing the 1More Stylish Dual-Dynamic Driver BT earphones. While the name might be a bit of a tongue twister, the earphones themselves offer a lot of features and specifications and are priced under Rs. 5000. We tested these neckband style wireless earphones from 1More. Here is our review.
1More stylish dual dynamic driver bluetooth headphone design and specifications
Really wireless earbuds may be an increasingly popular form factor, but the classic neckband style design still has its appeal. The 1More Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver BT has a flexible neckband with solid plastic modules at both ends. In the left are all controls, a micro USB port for charging and a microphone for hands-free calling.
The power button also functions as a multi-function button for playing, pausing, answering and ending calls, while the volume buttons can be pressed to skip to the next or previous track. Short cables run from the neckband to the earphones, which like the modules on the neckband are made of plastic.
The 1More Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver Bluetooth earphones have a matte black finish that we appreciated for its elegance and subtlety. However, you can opt for the pink version of these earphones if you are looking for something special. They are also lightweight and have special rubber earplugs that not only cover the ear inserts, but also wrap around the entire part of the sleeves that sit in your outer ears. We found that 1More Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver's Bluetooth earphones are extremely user-friendly for hours.
As the name of the product suggests, the 1More earphones have a dual dynamic driver configuration in each 10mm earphone with a titanium and a graphene driver. The headset has Bluetooth 4.2 for connectivity and, disappointingly, only supports the SBC Bluetooth codec.
We achieved an inconspicuous operating time of six hours with a full charge (from empty to full took about three hours) and three hours with a ten minute charge. The sales package includes four pairs of earplugs, a micro USB cable and a soft plastic case for the headphones. As with some other 1More products, the sound on the Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver BT headphones was tuned by Grammy-winning sound engineer Luca Bignardi.
1More stylish Dual Dynamic Driver Bluetooth headphone performance
Now that we've covered the basics, it's time to take a look at the performance of 1More Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver's Bluetooth earbuds. We used the headphones with a OnePlus 7 Pro (review) and listened to music streamed via Spotify and YouTube Music as well as high-resolution audio tracks.
The lack of Bluetooth codec support and the use of the older Bluetooth 4.2 standard with the 1More Stylish Dual-Dynamic Driver BT headphones is surprising, but we were quite impressed with the sound quality of the headphones. 1More more than made up for the technological shortcomings of these earphones with the quality of the drivers and tuning. The sound is pleasant, revealing, and very detailed for a pair of headphones that are limited to the SBC Bluetooth codec. While a better codec could possibly get more out of these headphones, the sound quality in its current form is by no means insufficient for the price.
We are used to using headphones with two drivers, but both are dynamic drivers with which we are not very familiar. It is not clear how the headphones split the sound frequencies between the two drivers, but the typical advantages of a setup with two drivers were clearly audible to us. This included excellent instrument separation, narrow lows and a clean and detailed sound stage. When we heard from Rag & # 39; N & # 39; Bone Man that I was only human after all, we liked the interplay of the bell-like elements in the beat and the powerful vocals.
We could clearly hear every single element in the track, which we also experienced with Dinka's progressive house track Renegade. From the narrow bass hits to the synthesized highs in the track, everything was clear, sharp and captivating. Increasing the volume to over 80 percent ensured a pleasant yet haunting sound experience.
The acoustic signature of the 1More Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver Bluetooth earphones is largely V-shaped with strong highs and lows and a slightly muted mid-range, which is well suited for most tracks. We found the middle section to be softer, but not very noticeable. When I was a folk star from The Avalanches, the quiet vocals were clear and crisp, although the crisp lows and sharp highs tended to take center stage.
As a hands-free device, the BT headset 1More Stylish Dual-Dynamic Driver does an acceptable job. The microphone is located at the end of the left module on the neckband, so that our voice could be recorded easily. The voice quality was good on both sides and the connection stability was good, whether on the phone or listening to music.
The 1More Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver BT is in no way a fancy pair of headphones, because it comes up short in some technical points and the battery life. However, the earphones sound good and are comfortable to wear. While these headphones would probably have sounded much better with the right Bluetooth codec support, the performance that they still offer cannot be objected to.
The excellent coordination and acoustic signature of this pair of headphones make the 1More Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver Bluetooth our new favorite under Rs. 5,000. If you are looking for new neckband style affordable earphones and are not concerned about battery life, this is our first choice right now.
