Change Alexa’s speech speed

If Alexa speaks too fast or too slow for you, you can tell him to speed up or slow down. Just say “Alexa, speak faster” or “Alexa, speak slower”. Echo can play a sound when Alexa is triggered

Hear shorter responses from Alexa

If you don’t like Alexa repeating everything you say, you can turn on a setting by name Short mode for shorter answers. Instead of Alexa saying “OK, turn on the lights”, she just says “OK”.

To activate the setting, open the Alexa app menu and select the settings. In the Alexa Settings section, tap Voice responses, then turn the switch on Short mode.

Whisper Alexa to
