Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan has announced that he will donate a total of Rs 2 crores to the government relief fund as the nation fights the COVID-19 pandemic.

The actor went to Twitter to announce that he would donate Rs 50 lakh each to Andhra Pradesh’s aid funds and Telangana Chief Minister and Rs 1 Crore to the Prime Minister’s aid fund.

In two separate tweets, the actor said: “I will donate Rs. 50 lakhs each to AP and Telangana CM aid funds to fight the corona pandemic.”

In the meantime, Indian railways are reportedly considering converting their coaches and cabins to isolated stations in view of the growing number of COVID-19 patients. On Wednesday, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared the idea on Twitter of using empty railroad cars as isolation stations because the trains no longer run across the country.
