The main reason why I don't like social networks. What you think? Do you agree with me or not?
A few years ago, I noticed that on Facebook I was doing complicated calculations like:
Do I really like this post? If not
Do I want the person to know that I like your post? If not
Do I want other people to know that I like this person's post? If not
Do I want to see more of this person?
Do I want Facebook to know that I like this?
etc., then, what seems like a simple gesture actually involves complex calculations.
What really drives me crazy, as you saw in this tirade of a video, is to think about the reasons why people post on social networks. Of course, we are attracted to the dopamine spikes that we receive when our publications get likes and comments, this leads us to publish increasingly attractive content. This is just what the platforms want us to do, but I maintain that it is disadvantageous for our social lives and for our period of life. If you always have that process running in the background looking for the perfect photo or the right time, how can you live in that moment?
