Arijit Singh is reported to have bought four rupee 9 billion apartments in a posh area in Versova, Mumbai. It is said that the four apartments are put together before he moves in.
Singer Arijit Singh, currently one of the most successful artists in Bollywood, recently bought four apartments in a building in Versova, Mumbai, worth 9 rupees. The apartments are reported to be on the same floor, which means that they will be converted into part of a single apartment.
Square Feet India reports (via) that one of the apartments is 32 square meters and costs 1.80 rupees, while the other is spread over 70 square meters and costs 2.20 rupees. The third and fourth apartments are said to be 80 square meters and cost 2.60 crore or 70 square meters for 2.5 crore.
Arjit, whose latest tracks Haan Main Galat and Shayad by Love Aaj Kal have still become fans, has had a glorious career in Bollywood for the past ten years. He sang many successful pieces such as Raabta and Phir Le Aaya Dil, but made his breakthrough with Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2, replacing Mohit Chauhan as one of the most sought-after singers of his time in Bollywood. In 2019, Arijit himself gave almost twenty blockbuster songs. He also finished 26th in the list of Forbes India's 100 most influential celebrities.
In an earlier interview with The Statesman, Arijit had also spoken about his struggles in his early days in Mumbai. "I have fought a lot, yes, but there is nothing that is particularly unique about my fight. Every singer who comes to Mumbai has to go through the same journey. You go to the music directors with your demo and hope that someone or the other to recognize your talent. You meet other people who want it and you hear their life stories. These life stories are sometimes a lot to consider compared to your own and I think that always kept me going. "Arijit was on remembered his trip to Bollywood.
