Conor McGregor, who defeated Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone at UFC 246 in 40 seconds, has been the subject of several heinous posts on UFC fighter Kamaru Usman's official Twitter account, along with threats from McGregor's friend Dee Devlin.
Usman's manager Ali Abedlaziz said Usman's Twitter was hacked and Usman refused to send the tweets.
"It's sad that we live in a world where people do things like that." Usman said on Saturday. "It's what it is. It's part of life now. Obviously it wasn't me. Whoever tweets these things, I mean, come on. Hopefully you have 10 seconds of fame. I am not. Obviously it is not my character. "
A tweet from the account said, "I'll fuck your wife while I get the F-K out of you."
Another tweet related to more heinous sexual acts involving Devlin – which was not specifically mentioned – and another tweet shared bank account information that McGregor is said to own.
However, McGregor did not buy Usman's account being hacked.
"I would be skeptical because someone got through early and had all the characteristics of this little related weasel, Ali," said McGregor after UFC 246.
He later added that he didn't think Usman himself was responsible for the hideous tweets.
The UFC investigated the alleged hacking. UFC President Dana White quickly called McGregor to inform him of the situation, hoping that McGregor would not confront Usman.
"I called Conor and said," He was hacked, so don't say anything, don't do anything, "White said." Usman and Ali are right in front of Conor.
"You deposited his bank account and his PIN code there. Crazy thing, ”added White. "This is crazy, terrible."
