CBS Philadelphia reports that objects from Frank Sinatra's "Chairman Suite" in Atlantic City are on the auction block to give the public the opportunity to live like the CEO. S & S Auction in Swedesboro, New Jersey, recently acquired the content of Sinatra's Executive Suite at the former Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City. And this Sunday everything is for sale.
"As an audience, you actually have a chance to own something that Frank Sinatra sat or slept on," said David Berenblit, Marketing Manager at S&S Auction, to CBS Philly.
Some of the items were used by Sinatra to entertain his famous friends. Others, like a marble chest of drawers with a golden seat, exude Hollywood opulence. "These goods would have probably cost around $ 20-30,000 when they were new," said Berenblit.
Directed by casino mogul Steve Wynn, Sinatra's enormous suite from the 1980s was outfitted with items from around the world. Some items are available for a few hundred dollars or less. Others, like a Ferdinand Berthoud watch, could bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars.
"The watch is decorated in bronze with an ebony case," said Berenblit.
Dominick Amaradio has been in the high-end auction business with his father and grandfather for three generations. This is one of her favorite collections.
"The pieces we bought are very impressive," said Amaradio.
