After sharing my husband's video by quitting his job so we can be full-time bloggers, I had an inbox full of emails asking for details about that. "How exactly do you make money blogging?"

Most people had no idea that blogging could be a viable career.

I even had some people quite worried, "Well, your husband can always get another job." Obviously they thought we were a little crazy about taking the big leap.

Blogging can indeed be a wonderful career choice in today's online marketplace.

I have to be honest, I hesitated even to share this post.

Talking about money is awkward, and I'm still quite new to all this blogging. I've been in this for a little over two years, but in the grand scheme of things, I feel like a newbie in the industry.

Although I don't know everything there is to know, I have learned a lot about monetization and brand building.

So, with my fears and insecurities aside, I want to share with you the five main ways in which bloggers earn money. I will also discuss the ways in which I personally make a full-time income blog.

Nothing happens overnight
I felt that first I needed to publish this first, so nobody thinks that making money by blogging happens quickly. Actually, it will take a lot of work before you see a penny.

For me, I put countless hours on my blog, over the course of a year, before seeing the money from my efforts. Sometimes I was tempted to quit, because the ROI didn't seem to be there.

I am so happy to have endured, because after two years of hard work, I finally feel that I am paid what the work really is worth.

How do you make money Blogging
1. Advertising revenue
The ads that appear on blogs are one way content creators make money.

You can join different ad networks, such as Mediavine or Adthrive, or simply Google adsense, to start working with advertisers. They will give you a snippet of code to put on your site, and then the ads will begin to appear.

Now, as you can imagine, you need to have a lot of traffic for this to be a lot.

This was really the first way I could see a small passive income from my blog. A friend of mine local blogger (Ashley from Little Glass Jar) told me that I should join an ad network if I had more than 30,000 page views per month on my blog. At this point, I still had no idea, so I didn't even know if I met the requirements.

I installed Google Analytics and discovered that, behold, I had more than 30,000 page visits. I installed the ads, and the next month I received a check for $ 500.

It blew my head.

I thought blogs only made money in theory. I couldn't believe it was happening to me, and the amount seemed HUGE.

To this day, my network's advertising revenue is the bulk of my income.

2. Affiliate links
When I share sources of articles in my home or supplies for projects in this blog, I generally share affiliate links.

The link has a built-in tracking code, so that the company that sells the product knows that I sent the buyer. I receive a small cut for sending you a sale.

It does not cost the buyer more money, so it is a victory for everyone.

For many bloggers, this can be a significant part of their overall income. It amounts to approximately 25-30% of mine.

As with the ads, it takes a while to build this. You will need many links on the web before you add a large amount, but gradually it will eventually.

3. Sponsorships
