Bangalore: Bangalore United FC played an entertaining 0-0 win against West Bengal's Sreebhumi FC on Saturday at Bangalore Football Stadium. The result also recorded the first goalless game in the 4th Indian Women’s League (IWL).

The chances were good and both sides missed a catalog of possibilities. Tanvie Hans and Satyabati Hadia had a good connection to the BUFC, while Sreebhumi's Ritu Devi was a constant threat throughout the game.

The game came to life in the last ten minutes of the game, and both teams had excellent chances. The best came to BUFC in the 83rd minute when a series of mistakes in the Sreebhumi box missed BUFC's Paromita Sit in a duel. She had a second try with the gaping gate, but her attempt was cleared off the line as the crowd gasped collectively.

Both goalkeepers, Vinaya Seshan from BUFC and Rumpa Malik from Sreebhumi, had fantastic games as they both kept clean sheets and helped their team to score a point.
