A day after producer KE Gnanavel Raja filed a complaint against Kamal Haasan with the Tamil Nadu Producer & # 39; s Council, alleging that the actor had not returned a 10 rupee loan to release his film Uttama Villain Haasan has denied all such allegations. Raaj Kamal Films International from Haasan made a statement refusing to accept such news.
“Nothing can be further from the truth, and all of these accusations are made by people with specific interests. It is obviously wrong and Mr Gnanavel has not paid Mr Kamal Haasan as claimed. The news that Gnanavel Raja paid Mr. Kamal Haasan Rs 10 crore for the release of Uttama Villain is now intended to tarnish Mr. Kamal Haasan's image, ”said NV Narayanan, CEO of Raaj Kamal Films International, in the statement.
Narayanan added that the company is reviewing legal options against those who "deliberately and mischievously" intend to defame the reputation of Kamal Haasan and Raaj Kamal Films International.
In compliance, Raaja said Kamal Haasan had contacted him and borrowed 10 rupees before the film was released in 2015. In return, Haasan had reportedly promised to make a film under Raja's production house. Raja claimed that Haasan did not pay the money even after four years.
Uttama Villain, directed by Ramesh Aravind and screenplay Kamal Haasan, was not a box office.
