Speculation about the filming of The Batman had begun at the turn of the year. This was caused by pictures of Colin Farrell showing the penguin going viral and a tweet from Jeffrey Wright saying that he would soon be flying to Gotham. However, due to Reeves' announcement, it appears that Farrell is rehearsing the role.
Zoe Kravitz had also delighted fans when she recently appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show, revealing that she had tried numerous Catwoman suits. The actress also revealed that she would fly to London to shoot for The Batman.
Even the lead actor Robert Pattinson said in an interview that he was tired of talking about playing The Batman and couldn't wait to start filming the film. Well, it looks like fans will soon see Pattinson putting on the black hood.
Matt had previously promised that his film would focus on Batman's detective aspect. Whether this is exciting or not will be known when the film is released on June 25, 2021.
