Production of two Excedrin painkillers arrested

January 22, 2020 – The production and distribution of Excedrin Extra Strength and Excedrin Migraine products have been temporarily halted, manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline said Tuesday.

"Through routine quality control and assurance measures, we discover inconsistencies in the way we transfer and weigh the ingredients for Excedrin extra strength tablets and geltabs and Excedrin migraine tablets and geltabs," the company said in a communicated to CNN.

"We are working hard to solve the problem as quickly as possible, but at this time we cannot confirm a definite date on when the supply will resume," the company said.
