<pre><pre>Realme Buds Air Neo True Wireless Earbuds Certified, Indicating Upcoming Launch

A little over a month ago, Realme launched its first pair of real wireless earphones, Realme Buds Air. Realme Buds Air received a positive response for its range of functions and aggressive pricing. But it looks like Realme is preparing to launch a more affordable version of Realme Buds Air, and they may be launched under the Realme Buds Air Neo name – something that will be featured in an introductory video earlier this month for that Realme user interface was seen. The unannounced Realme True Wireless earbuds have been certified by the Taiwanese National Communication Commission (NCC), indicating that they may launch soon. The certification directory also gives us a first glimpse into the design of Realme Buds Air Neo.

The name Realme Buds Air Neo and the model number RMA205 are clearly indicated in the NCC list. There's not much to extract in terms of hardware specifications and features in the NCC certification documents, but they do give us a good glimpse of the upcoming Realme True Wireless earbuds. In terms of design, the Realme Buds Air Neo seems to be heavily inspired by the Vanilla Realme Buds Air, which in turn looks very similar to the AirPods. The pictures show the Realme Buds Air in white color, accompanied by a charging case with a matching color profile. As mentioned earlier, the Realme Buds Air Neo name was also discovered in an introductory video for the Realme user interface last week.

The design of the Realme Buds Air Neo charging case is identical to the design that comes with the standard Realme Buds Air package. But despite the aesthetic similarities, there can be some differences under the hood. One of the images in the NCC database shows a micro USB cable and the corresponding connector for charging the Realme Buds Air Neo. In comparison, the Realme Buds Air has a USB Type-C port. Another area in which Realme could save costs and make Realme Buds Air Neo more affordable is to remove support for wireless charging and keep it exclusive to Realme Buds Air. However, it is not yet known when the Realme Buds Air Neo will be officially launched and which markets will be available.
