No one is more excited about Ryan Tannehill's postseason than his wife.
On Saturday, Lauren Tannehill sent a special message to the Titans quarterback, the same day Tennessee fought New England in the AFC wildcard round.
"We have been waiting a long time, love you, Boo! #RideOrDie," Lauren signed the picture collection with her eight-year-old husband.
Tannehill and the Titans eliminated the reigning Super Bowl champions with a 20:13 win over the Patriots at Foxborough. Tennessee will meet the Ravens in the division round on Saturday.
Tannehill, the eighth choice in the 2012 NFL draft, immediately became the Dolphins' quarterback. He signed a six-year $ 96 million contract renewal with the team in 2015, but missed the entire 2017 season after tearing the ACL. Tannehill returned a year later and ended 2018 with 1,979 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Tannehill was sold to the titans last March, along with a round six selection, against a fourth round selection for the 2020 NFL draft. Following the news, Lauren – who shares two children with Tannehill – wrote a thank you to South Florida, the couple's long-standing home.
"We made incredible memories with friends that we will have for the rest of our lives," she wrote at the time. "With God's blessing, we were able to make some of our dreams come true, relying on our beliefs and each other."
In October, Tannehill was appointed as the Titan’s starting quarter back through Marcus Mariota. He has thrown 2,742 yards this season, along with 22 touchdowns and six interceptions.
