What was your motivation? What inspired you when you wanted to give up?
My initial motivation was ME! I knew I couldn’t be disappointed. I also have a daughter that I would like to see grow up, have children, get married, etc.

When did you start your journey?
I started this weight loss journey about two years ago (March 2018) after a life-changing event. I got very depressed but I didn’t want the situation to define me or my future. I decided to turn the negative into the positive. I decided to pour the energy and love that I put into other situations just to save myself! Here I am two years later, and over 100 pounds have been lost, and I’m still pushing!

How did you change your eating habits?
Initially I released sodas, fried food, ate hamburgers with a single bun, etc. Then in July 2019 I was completely dirty and lazy.

How often did you train?
At first I had a personal trainer, and I worked 5-6 days a week.

What was your initial weight? what is your current weight
My starting weight was around 347 pounds. My current weight is 223.8 pounds.

How tall are you?
I am 5’4 ″.

Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, I have not had any weight loss surgery. I lost 124 pounds naturally!

What is the greatest lesson you have learned?
I have learned not to compare my journey with anyone else’s. I also learned how to get ahead and not give up, even when things seem impossible.

What advice do you have for people who want to lose weight?
Make your trip yours. First, believe in your MIND that you can do this, and everything else will fit.
