Too much vanity? Photo credit: Facebook
A businessman in Bengaluru hit a police kiosk with his brand new Lamborghini car and even managed to escape, only to be caught thanks to his own vanity after returning to the construction site to click photos of the rubble.
30-year-old Sunny Sabharwal drove his Lamborghini Gallardo from MG Road to RT Nagar on Sunday when he apparently lost control of the bikes and rammed into a police kiosk in CTO Circle.
While there were no injuries at the time when the kiosk was so empty, the crash left a gaping hole in the kiosk and also destroyed property, including the chairs that were in the kiosk. The news minute reported.
While Sabharwal has managed to sneak into the crowd and disappear, his hubris seems to defeat him. After the pictures from the crash went viral, Sabharwal later returned to the place when it was empty and clicked photos with the wreckage of the kiosk. He even had his thumbs up when he posed and posted the pictures on social media.
The Bengaluru police were immediately on the track of the perpetrator and found him using CCTV footage and the photos he posted on social media.
Sabharwal, Co-Director at Fun World and Resorts India Private Limited, has been booked for negligent driving. However, the businessman is now on bail.
