The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S20 series will be available for pre-order in India from Valentine's Day. The price is expected to start under Rs 70,000 and the six-digit mark for the top-end Galaxy S20 Ultra will come with massive 16 GB of RAM.
Reliable sources told IANS on Thursday that the Galaxy S20 series with Exynos 990 chipset is expected to hit stores in India on March 8 (International Women's Day).
In the meantime, Samsung's second foldable Galaxy Z Flip smartphone will arrive in India next week and is expected to cost between 1.10 and 1.25 rupees.
According to sources, pre-reservations for the bold and stylish Galaxy Z Flip would start on February 21.
The Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung's second foldable smartphone after the Galaxy Fold, which costs 1.65 lakh, was launched on February 11th in San Francisco together with the premium Galaxy S20 series for $ 1,380 worldwide.
Like Galaxy Fold, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip would sell through pre-orders in India as the devices are available in limited quantities. Deliveries of the Galaxy Z Flip for early risers in India could start in the last week of February, according to industry reports.
The Galaxy S20 series – S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra – offers several industry-leading camera innovations.
Galaxy S20 and S20 + have a 64-megapixel camera, while Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 108-megapixel camera.
The devices have groundbreaking zoom functions. Users can zoom up to 30x on the Galaxy S20 and S20 + and zoom up to 100x on the S20 Ultra with a clearer view than before.
