TNL Media Group, a media and journalist company based in Taipei, announced that it has taken over the startup Ad2iction for mobile advertising technology. In addition to digital advertising and data analysis, Ad2iction also operates industries such as Agent Movie, a film website, and its brands continue to be managed independently after joining the TNL Media Group.
Ad2iction currently serves around 500 brands with a cloud-based platform called Ad2 CMP (Creative Management Platform), which they can use to analyze behavior and create digital content for displays and mobile devices.
Started in 2013 with The News Lens, The TNL Media Group, a news site, has been expanded through a number of partnerships and acquisitions and now includes a portfolio of content brands for lifestyle, sports, technology and video content. For example, in 2018 the company acquired the Taiwanese tech news site INSIDE and the sports site Sportsvision. The company focuses on creating Chinese-language content for users in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, as well as English-language articles for international readers.
TNL Media Group recently launched a market research unit called TNLR (where “R” stands for Research) to provide reports such as Dell, Uber and Ford that use data analysis from their user base.
