Rumor has it that the Vivo V19 series will be pre-booked in India later this month. The new series, which will include the Vivo V19 and Vivo V19 Pro, is slated to debut in the country in March – shortly before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, which is scheduled for March 23. The Vivo V19 is likely the successor to the Vivo V17, while the Vivo V19 Pro is offered as an upgrade to the Vivo V17 Pro. Both phones in the Vivo V17 series were presented with several rear view cameras last year.
Pre-booking for the Vivo V19 series will begin in India later this month, reports 91 mobiles, citing people who are familiar with the development. The new Vivo phones are said to be priced between Rs. Price range 20,000-30,000 and will be available through online and authorized retail stores in the country.
It is speculated that the Vivo V19 Pro would go on sale before the standard Vivo V19. This sounds similar to the launch of the Vivo V17 and Vivo V15 series last year. In addition, the specifications of the two new cell phones are still rumored.
Gadgets 360 turned to Vivo India for clarity on launch, and the company explicitly declined to comment on the details reported. It is therefore safe to view the report with some skepticism.
Reminder: The Vivo V15 series debuted in India with the launch of the Vivo V15 Pro in February last year. Vivo expanded the series to include the Vivo V15 in March.
In just six months after the launch of the V15, Vivo launched the V17 Pro with a dual pop-up selfie camera on the Indian market. The company followed the trend of adding two smartphones to the V-series and launched the Vivo V17 in December.
