Cavani's desire to leave PSG sparked Lampard's interest | Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani's desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain has sparked the interest of Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, who has complained about the lack of clinical refinement of his players.

However, Lampard said he would be interested in a 32-year-old striker when he was informed of Cavani's desire to leave PSG on the eve of the press conference.
"He is a great player," said Cavani Lampard.
"I played against him and I always loved his mentality and attitude, and obviously his goal balance speaks for itself.
"I'm not fully aware of the situation, so we'll see.

"He plays tomorrow. After that I have a match on Saturday and maybe he plays again on Saturday. I can't tell you more," Mourinho told reporters on Monday.
