Conor McGregor will return to his long-awaited UFC appearance against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone this weekend (Saturday, 10:00 PM, ESPN + PPV). But even during the upcoming UFC 246 event in Las Vegas, UFC President Dana White had time to make an offer to a woman who was performing some serious wrestling blows outside the octagon.
24-year-old Best Buy employee Summer Tapasa-Sataraka went viral in December when a video showed her robbing a suspected robber in the Big Box store in Hawaii. The man tried to escape with an expensive speaker system, but Tapasa-Sataraka made him an offensive lineman and thwarted his efforts.
After she was fired from Best Buy, White posted the video on Instagram and invited the young woman to work for him. It seems that his offer is not a joke.
"This is the kind of person I want to work for me. You are crazy, Best Buy. You should have kept it. I will steal it from you now," White said in an interview with TMZ.
Tapasa-Sataraka will fly to Vegas this weekend to host White, and White said his job offer is "dead serious."
"We spoke to her on the phone, she has an incredible personality and she is my kind of girl, man," said White. "Get ready Summer, this weekend you have the best weekend of your life in Las Vegas for cowboy versus McGregor.
"[She] followed this guy and put your company at risk. Why don't you want someone like that? Why don't you want someone with that kind of dedication and guilty conscience? "
