A few hours after the release on Friday, both films were released online and were available for download in full HD on the infamous piracy site Tamilrockers. It is alleged that piracy could adversely affect the fate of the films and affect the film collections of the films.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is a romantic story that shows the journey of two gay men who convince their families and society for their marriage. Directed by Hitesh Kewalya, Ayushmann Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta play a key role. In the meantime, Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is a horror film directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh. The film stars Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in leading roles.

This is not the first time that Tamilrockers have released a film online. Previously, they have released many major films, including Street Dancer 3D, Malang, Panga, Love Aaj Kal, Chhapaak, Heaven is Pink, Chhichhore, Super 30, X-Men Dark Phoenix, Kabir Singh, Saaho and many others.
