Transformation of the day: Victoria lost 45 pounds. When he was approaching 35, he decided it was time to be happier, healthier and set aside low self-esteem. He made practical changes in his eating habits and increased his total daily steps.
What was your motivation?
My motivation was that I was tired of having my body ache and that I was tired of not feeling 100%. Nor was I happy with my appearance and had low self-esteem. I knew I wanted to change because I turned 35. I wanted more for myself and be happy with myself.
What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
What helped me not to give up was that I saw my progress and how much weight I had lost. Nor do I have scales in my house. I weighed myself at work once a month so as not to become obsessed with regret.
How did you change your eating habits?
I gave up red meat and ate more vegetables. I drink a lot of shakes as meal replacements. I didn't have a specific plan. He was much more cautious about what he was eating. I still ate my pizza, and drank ice cream once in a while. Basically, I ate more vegetables and drank a lot of water. I also reduced fried foods.
What was your training routine like? How often did you train?
I walked every day. My goal was to take 10,000-18,000 steps a day, even on my days off from work. I also jogged and did exercises at home between jogging / walking.

I started with 230 pounds, and my current weight is 185 pounds.

I can do anything I propose. I have the tools to make myself happy, and that is what I did. This was one of my goals, and I actually achieved it.
What advice do you have for people who want to lose weight?
Start now! It will be very difficult, but you can do it. Take your time, but make it happen.
