If you've ever wondered how to annoy Tom Brady, the chief's defense lawyer, Chris Jones, has your answer.
After surviving two quarters of Jones' trash talks at week 14, Brady took the bait and Jones faced to take revenge. But Jones is now saying that it was actually a bit vulgar than he first mentioned.
"I got him to say something to me," the Super Bowl champion said in a recent interview with Barstool Sports, "Pardon My Take." "He scolded me, but I loved it." This is the first time Brady is kicking out a D-Lineman, so I obviously did something right. "
Jones would not explain which word Brady used.
"We worked a bit on it," Brady said to WEEI's "The Greg Show" Monday after the defeat between 23 and 16. "He was pretty talkative out there, so I think there is a healthy rivalry."
Brady admitted that he was letting the chiefs pass Rusher's skin and noticed that he "normally" doesn't allow the trash talk to come to him. This time Brady said he "couldn't really resist."
Apparently, 25-year-old Lineman has reached Brady's advanced age.
"When they're on the floor, you call him an old-fashioned motherfker, or you bring up your old ass, or you have to back off," Jones said. "Brady got up so quickly, it's the fastest I've ever seen Brady move."
Brady turns 43 in August.
Jones, who seemed proud to be able to elicit an emotional response from the Patriots caller, said it was all "part of the game".
"I feel particularly like quarterbacks … you know, quarterback and D-Line, are two different types of classes. So if you are able to crash, you speak your st. They say how you are going for them feel, "Jones said." Every time I can say something to a quarterback after I hit him, I don't even have to hit him, I just come to you and talk.
"After the game it's nothing but love and respect. But between these lines we are at war. And whatever I can do to get under your skin, whatever I can do to influence you. But just understand, it's not just talking. I'll hit you. You'll feel me. "
