Mumbai: Days after Maharashtra Prime Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced that he would go to Ayodhya on March 7 to receive the blessings from Lord Ram, Farhan Azmi, son of SP leader Abu Azmi, announced that he too would join the leader would connect and build Babri Masjid there.

"He says that he will go to Ayodhya in March. I want to tell him that I will come with him. If he tries to lay the foundation stone for the Ram Temple, we will lay the foundation stone for Babri Masjid, ”said Farhan.

On January 22, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut announced that Thackeray Ayodhya would visit "power after 100 days to receive Lord Ram's blessing."

It will be the first visit of the Sena chief to Ayodhya after his party cut ties with the BJP and the NDA over power sharing after the results of the Maharashtra election were announced last October.

Thackeray postponed his visit to Ayodhya on November 24 last year after the NCP core committee decided to form an alternative government in the state.

Thackeray last visited Ayodhya in June 2019 and, along with 18 newly elected MPs from his party, said prayers in the makeshift Ram Lalla temple.
