Zendaya's bright pink look for the 2020 Critics' Choice Awards was a real eye-catcher, and people had a lot to say.
On Sunday, the star “Euphoria” rocked a shiny, asymmetrical breastplate top with a maxi skirt from Tom Ford. The purely fuchsia-colored look was a tribute to a similar design that Issey Miyake and Claude Lalanne made for haute couture A / W in the 1980s. 1969 collection designed by Yves Saint Laurent. Both the actor's stylist, Law Roach, and the founder of Shrimpton Couture, Cherie Balch, have posted the historical reference points on their Instagram accounts.
Zendaya had been nominated for the best actress in a drama series, but her looks were the real winner.
